AWARD WINNER 2021-22: In a nomination supported widely, including in moving testimony from service users who describe her as “brilliant” and a “superstar”, Vicky receives an Award for being quite simply exceptional, in all aspects of her role, as a Probation Services Officer for the NPS in Middlesbrough. COMMENDEE 2021-22: Audrey’s Commendation is for her outstanding work with West Midlands NPS’ Further Serious Offence Team, for the leadership and support she provides to colleagues, and for driving best practice across the region and beyond.  

COMMENDEE 2021-22: Described as “an exceptional leader”, Natalie’s Commendation is for her exemplary management and support of staff dealing with a critical incident, and its aftermath, in her role as Head of Staffordshire NPS.

COMMENDEE 2021-22: Myra’s Commendation is for all-round excellence as a Case Administrator, for over three decades, with East Midlands NPS; praised widely by colleagues, she is described as “irreplaceable”, “our lynchpin”, and “The Queen of Probation”.

COMMENDEE 2021-22: Steven is Commended for his work as a Probation Services Officer in Merseyside, in particular for his tireless efforts, and ability to inspire hope and change, with some of the most challenging young men in the area.

AWARD WINNER 2020-21: Described as “wonderfully kind and generous”, “extremely hard working”, and “an absolute star”, Pat’s Award is for his outstanding financial support work with the Staffs & West Mids CRC, including helping service users set up more than 2,500 bank accounts, and assisting them with debts of almost £10 million. [This Award is supported by G4S Care & Justice Services.]

AWARD WINNER 2020-21: Described as “inspirational”, “dedicated”, and “a wonderful colleague”, Joy receives an Award for her exceptional leadership, passion and vision as a Probation Manager in Liverpool, and in particular for her ground-breaking contributions to tackling knife crime and “County Lines” in the area. [This Award is supported by Serco Justice Services.]

COMMENDEE 2020-21: Eve is granted a Commendation for her “drive, determination, and, most of all, unrivalled empathy and compassion”, as a Probation Officer with North West NPS – “she is an inspiration” to both colleagues and service users.

COMMENDEE 2020-21: Roland’s Commendation is for his outstanding work as a Victim Liaison Officer with Essex Probation, for his “wonderful and compassionate character”, and for his particular skill in dealing with some of the most challenging cases.
