COMMENDEE 2025-26: Leila’s Commendation, as Health & Justice Partnership Co-ordinator with West Mercia Probation, is for conceiving and driving forward an innovative, data-driven approach to improving healthcare for people on probation, by mapping their needs and health inequalities across the country.

COMMENDEE 2025-26: Gavin is a Community Payback Work Team Leader with East Lothian Council and is Commended for his management and support of colleagues, and for transforming the range of activities on offer to ensure that unpaid work makes a real and meaningful difference to the lives of local residents.

COMMENDEE 2025-26: Described by one colleague as “the best manager I have ever had”, Janice is granted a Commendation for her supportive and inspiring leadership, and for her contribution to improving professional practice throughout the region, as Assistant Chief Officer for Bury & Rochdale PDU.

COMMENDEE 2025-26: Kathryn is Commended, as the Offender Personality Disorder (OPD) lead for North East Probation, for transforming the region’s OPD provision through her knowledge, passion, and skill – her achievements have been widely praised by colleagues, as well as HM Inspectorate of Probation.

COMMENDEE 2025-26: Maggie is a Personal Wellbeing Advisor with Ingeus in the West Midlands and gets a Commendation for the skill and compassion she brings to her role, and the trust and respect she inspires, earning her the title “Magnificent Maggie” and universal praise from colleagues and service users alike.
